You will be notified by your local emergency response team in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts. Examples include: evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices and missing child reports.
Vision: A city prepared with viable, sustainable and coordinated capabilities to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from all hazards are a product of the fulfillment of the resident’s expectations for safety and socioeconomic potential. A comprehensive emergency management program will lessen negative impacts to those expectations by encompassing all organizations, agencies, departments, and individuals that have a role in emergency management and homeland security functions and provides public education that includes crime prevention, emergency preparedness/awareness for both the public and private sectors.
