Station 51

Station 51 was built in 1982. It was designed to also accommodate the Fire District’s headquarters. In 2010, the administration staff moved to the City of Brighton New City Hall Building located at 500 S. 4th avenue on the 3rd floor. In 2020, the Fire District completed a re-molded of the Station. The re-model improved the kitchen, day room, living quarters, apparatus bays and weight room. Station 51 houses an Engine, Confined space trailer, Brush truck, and a Platte Valley Ambulance.

Each fire station within the Fire District has a Captain assigned, they are responsible for the station. Captain Jesse Eversman is assigned to Station 51. Captain Eversman has been with the Fire District since 2006. He held the rank of Career Firefighter/EMT, Engineer and Lieutenant, before his promotion to Captain in 2021. His duties include being the Tech Rescue Team coordinator and Cadre Team member of the North Area Fire Academy.
