2025 Kids Academy
Registrations for the 2025 Kids Academy will open on April 1, 2025. Please check back on that date for information registering your child/children at that time.
Get a glimpse of what life as a firefighter is like at the Brighton Fire Kids Academy! Kids 8-11 years old are invited to attend our kids academy.
Kids will learn about fire safety, first aid, bike safety and much more, while spending time with firefighters and learning what life is like at the firehouse. The cost is $55. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
(Please note that if your child has already attended kids academy, they can not attend again, as space is limited and we need to allow for anyone who has not done the academy previously)
All registrations must be done by a legal parent or guardian, as you have to sign the waiver when registering.

- Day 1 Kids Academy
- Introductions, 9-1-1, hose deploy, search & rescue
- 0900 - 1200
- Day 2 Kids Academy
- Bunker gear, 1st Aid, Cooking Safety, Ropes/Knots
- 0900 - 1200
- Day 3 Kids Academy
- Bike Safety, helmet use, Bike rodeo, brain games
- 0900 - 1200
- Day 4 Kids Academy
- Combat challenge, hose use, bucket brigade, graduation
