Station 55 was built in 2004 to provide fire protection to the west side of the Fire District and Todd Creek. This station has a community room, and a tornado warning siren to alert the surrounding community. Currently, there is a minimum of a Company Officer, Engineer and a Firefighter on duty every day. Station 55 houses an Engine, 100ft Tower, Tender, Brush truck, a Platte Valley Ambulance and a rescue boat.
Each fire station within the Fire District has a Captain assigned, they are responsible for the station. Captain Brian Guyer is assigned to Station 55. Captain Guyer has been with the Fire District since 2007. He held the rank of Career Firefighter/EMT, Engineer, Lieutenant before his promotion to Captain in 2021. His duties include being the Wildland Team coordinator.
