2026 Kids Academy
Get a glimpse into life as a firefighter at the Brighton Fire Kids Academy!
Kids ages 8–11 are invited to attend this four-day academy at our new training center. Participants will learn about injury prevention, first aid, bike safety, and more—all while spending time with firefighters and experiencing what life is like at the firehouse.
Cost: $55
Registration is first come, first served, with a maximum of 20 participants.
Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Please note: Children who have previously attended the academy are not eligible to participate again.

After your email is received, you will be sent a link to complete the registration form and submit payment. This is the only way to register.

- Day 1 Kids Academy (July 7th)
- Introductions, 9-1-1, hose deploy, search & rescue
- 0900 - 1200
- Day 2 Kids Academy (July 8th)
- Bunker gear, 1st Aid, Cooking Safety, Ropes/Knots
- 0900 - 1200
- Day 3 Kids Academy (July 9th)
- Bike Safety, helmet use, Bike rodeo, brain games
- 0900 - 1200
- Day 4 Kids Academy (July 10th)
- Combat challenge, hose use, bucket brigade, graduation
