Station 52 was built in 2017 to provided fire protection to the growing east side of the City of Brighton. This is the Fire Districts newest station and replaced the Training Center at old Station 52. The building was built with grants and has a Sliver LEED rating. Currently there is a minimum of a Battalion Chief, a Company Officer, Engineer, Firefighter and two Fire-Medics on duty every day. Station #52 houses an Engine, Battalion Chief SUV, Tender, Brush truck, and a Medic Unit.
Each fire station within the Fire District has a Captain assigned, they are responsible for the station. Captain Chris Elliott is assigned to Station 52. Captain Elliott has been with the Fire District since 2005. He held the rank of Volunteer Firefighter, Career Firefighter/EMT, Engineer and Lieutenant before his promotion to Captain in 2021. He is part of the District’s Technical Rescue team and oversees the small tools program.
